Eagle Lake, Maine: A young woman is murdered by a local
priest,
and her two siblings are tracked down whilst escaping from
a small community desperate to keep them hidden from the outside
world.
With the priest maintaining a vow of silence, the local Sheriff
is
forced to bring in Mike Fabien to determine the motive for the
killing.
When Miranda Keaton, one of the siblings escapes
town, Fabien
must discover the reason behind her guardian’s obsession to keep
the girls secluded, and Miranda’s whereabouts before she
is
caught
and returned to the place from which she is so desperate
to flee.
Jamie Farrington is staying at a remote lake house
